WEEK 54
HOME
VINTAGE CURVED GARDEN TABLE // Love this for a garden, especially if you splurge for all four to create a beautiful round installation around a special tree.
VINTAGE DAFI INDIGO PILLOW // Stripes are a neutral. I’ll die on this hill.
OUTDOOR NAVY STRIPED PILLOW // The more stripes the better.
VINTAGE DUTCH WOOL BLANKET // Fun for a backyard fire on chilly nights (a girl can dream).
BLOWN GLASS LAMP // Love the subtle intricacies of this hand blown lamp.
BAMBOO MIRROR // Chefs kiss.
INDIGO MUD CLOTH // Great for styling at the end of a bed. It’s very Michelle Adams or Emily Schoen approved (two of my favorite creators/designers).
GARDEN
PAPER GERANIUM // I’ve been saving a lot of interior spaces (this one! and this one!) styled with wild, carefree geraniums. Naturally, I’m now on the hunt for the specific species my favorite designers are employing. This is not that species (nor is it real) but I sort of love the fact that I couldn’t kill it even if I tried.
GATHERING BASKET // For fall harvests. Speaking of which, I need to get planting!
KITCHEN
GLASS CANNING JAR // We’re going plastic free in our household (and not just for the aesthetic).
UTILITY STOOL // For the vertically challenged like myself. Comes in many colors.
WELCOME SOAP // A fabulous hostess gift.
TABLE
SAILBOAT NAPKIN HOLDER // So kitschy but so cute!
CLOSET
ETHAN SWEATER // Considering for Fall. I absolutely love Xirena.
CHINO CAP // Back in my dad hat era.
DENIM CHECK DRESS // I purchased a limited edition brown gingham check night dress from If Only If on the recommendation of Alexandra Sisto Daniels and it seemed a bit extravagant at the time of purchase. But, if you’re calculating my investment in cost per wear (which I am, obviously) it’s paid for itself a million times over and looks no worse for wear. Obsessed. This blue gingham is on my list next.
WEEKEND STRIPED TOTE // Canvas totes are my weakness.
STRIPED SOCKS // You can always use another pair of socks!
ROLLNECK SWEATER // Loved the J.Crew campaign around their 1988 Rollneck Sweater. It’s in my cart.
ART
EVENING SAIL by MICHELLE ADAMS // I love this for a a coastal gallery wall. I still love a gallery wall but it’s a tricky challenge.
HISTORIC SAILING SHIPS, ONE // Speaking of gallery walls, I like to opt for cohesion through matching frames (I love these Target frames) and themes (either color or subject).
SAILING FLAG // It’s kitschy for sure, but I don’t hate it!
